PING become a supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf

PING has become a supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf.

The Group comprises Members from all major political parties and both Houses of Parliament, and has the singular remit to “support the sport of golf.” It meets regularly whilst Parliament is sitting to hear from speakers working in the sport, and between these meetings raises and challenges issues in golf, as well as promoting the good work that is done across the sport.

PING is a world-leading manufacturer of golf equipment, founded in 1959. With its European Headquarters in Gainsborough, PING is one of the biggest golf brands in the United Kingdom.

Group Co-Chair and Member of Parliament for North East Fife, Stephen Gethins MP, welcomed PING. He said “I am delighted to welcome PING as a supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf.

“Their support will allow the Group to continue to provide a strong voice for golf in Westminster, Whitehall and beyond.”

Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire and Group Co-Chair, Craig Tracey MP, added “I am pleased that PING have agreed to become a supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf.

“PING are one of the leading golf manufacturers, and we look forward to working closely with them, as the Group continues to support the sport.”

PING Europe Managing Director John Clark said “we are thrilled to become a supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf.

“For sixty years, PING has been passionate about providing high performance, custom-fitted, quality golf clubs.

“The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf does important work for the sport, and we hope to work more closely with Members as they seek to support golf and the golf industry more widely.”
