Speakers announced for All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf annual charity dinner

Ladies European Tour golfer Inci Mehmet will speak in conversation with journalist Chris Hollins at this year’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf annual charity dinner.

The dinner, which is hosted by Baroness Nye of Lambeth in the House of Lords, takes place on the evening of Monday 26 November and brings together Peers, Members of Parliament and the golf industry to celebrate the sport and raise money for charity.

Mehmet, who turned professional at the start of 2017, represents Royal Mid-Surrey and is one of the tour’s rising young stars. Hollins was BBC Breakfast’s sport presenter between 2005-2012, and has reported on a range of sport events from around the world.

Making the announcement was All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf Co-Chair and Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire, Craig Tracey MP, who said “I’m delighted that Inci and Chris are able to speak at the Group’s annual charity dinner, and look forward to welcoming them both to Parliament.”

Inci Mehmet said “I’m honoured to be invited to speak at the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf’s annual charity dinner. I’m looking forward to a great evening.”

Chris Hollins said “it is a privilege to be invited to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf’s annual charity dinner, and to speak in conversation with Inci. I look forward to meeting Members of the Group on the night.”

A limited number of places to the dinner are available to purchase here.
